Tony started at the BBC World Service and soon moved to television sport working on Grandstand and World Snooker. From there he went to LWT and was part of the ITV team at the Seoul Olynpics in 1988.
He went to the Italia '90 World Cup as a team leader and joined the fledgling Sky Sports service.
When Sky started their award-winning and innovative Premier League coverage Tony was the match producer.
He left Sky to start a new sports and event unit at Meridian TV which was soon part of the team winning the ITV F1 production contract.
He worked at the World Cups in France and Japan/Korea and lead the ITV team in Australia covering England's victory in the Rugby World Cup.
His department produced a variety of Sports, Childrens, Documentary and Factual programming for broadcasters including ITV, Channel 4, Five, Bravo, Discovery and Nat Geo.
Tony left Meridian to set up BigEasy Productions with Jim Raven in 2005. |
